Why we build small, focused apps

Most apps grow by adding. A feature here, a tab there, a settings screen nobody asked for — until the thing you opened to do one job buries that job three taps deep. We take the opposite bet. At Oye Teknoloji we build small, focused apps: each one does a single everyday thing, and tries to do it so well that it feels effortless.

One job, done properly

A metal detector should detect metal the moment you open it. A stud finder should tell you where to drill without a manual. A cat translator should be delightful in the first ten seconds. When an app has one job, every decision gets easier — what to design, what to cut, and what “good” actually means.

Details over scope

The space we save by not adding features, we spend on craft. Haptics that feel right. Onboarding measured in seconds, not screens. Copy that respects your time. These are the things you can't feel in a screenshot but notice within a minute of using an app — and they're where a focused app quietly wins.

Ship, listen, refine

Small apps let us move honestly. We ship, we watch how real people use the thing, and we refine. A tight scope means a bug is easier to find, a release is easier to reason about, and feedback maps directly to the one job the app exists to do.

Privacy by default

Doing one job also means we rarely need much about you to do it. We keep data collection minimal and your information yours — not because it's a marketing line, but because a focused app simply doesn't need more.

That's the shelf: eleven apps, each a small tool with a sharp edge. If that sounds like your kind of software, have a look around.
